Our Terroir

Our soils and vineyards are unique. As are our wines. The terroir is what provides the foundations for genuine quality: the warm summer days on the Bolzano valley floor, the cool nights. A constant wind that keeps our grapes healthy. And then, of course, nutrient-rich soil in which our native grape varieties take root. The Vernatsch in the moraine deposit soils and the Lagrein in the alluvial soil. Nature provides well. The rest is manual labour, experience and a sure instinct.
