The grapes chosen for the Lagrein Riserva grow along the Eisack River on deep alluvial soils, warm, very airy and gravelly.
At the end of the harvest, the grapes are carefully trimmed and the juice is fermented at a controlled temperature for approximately 12 days. Delicate punching allows the fermenting must to
contact the juice, ensuring that the wine is rich in extracts, pigments and aromatic elements. After the fermentation, the wine is decanted into small oaken barrels to refine and mature for 24
months.
The grapes selected for the Lagrein Riserva manifest their full aroma in the wine, along with their full intensity and personality.
The result is a Lagrein that is expressive, fruity and full-bodied with velvety tannins and a marked varietal character. An intense and vigorous wine, yet also smooth and elegant, which we value
because it embodies the unique qualities of the land.
