2012

After dry winter months, the budding of the vines started very early this year. However, the cool weather during blooming time restrained the growth of vegetation and made up for the advantage from March. The summer, too, was changeable.

2012 was definitely not an easy year for wine-growing, but owing to great care and attention we could successfully prevent the emergence of mycoses.

Due to the high temperatures in August the maturity was proceeding well. Despite slightly unstable weather conditions, that slowed down the ripening process in the last days of September, we were able to harvest healthy grapes with an ideal physiological maturity.

2011
A relatively dry and partially mild winter was followed by warm spring months. The summer began with cool spells and a little rain, followed by a long period of beautiful weather with numerous warm and dry days right up until the harvest. These conditions allowed the grapes to ripen somewhat early, with impeccable results from a physiological point of view.

2010
After a classic winter, with low temperatures and precipitation (sometimes snow), the spring was for a long time changeable, while the summer provided a very dry and warm climate. August was characterised by abundant precipitation and September offered splendid autumn days, creating ideal conditions for ripening and the harvest.

2009
Following a cold, wet winter, spring and summer presented high temperatures that favoured the swift development of the grapes. The warm, dry autumn days ensured the grapes were of excellent quality, with relatively high sugar content and optimum physiological ripening.
